CallBridge Support
CallBridge pairs an iPhone with an Android phone so the iPhone can control supported calls and text messages handled by the Android phone’s SIM.
Before you connect
- Install CallBridge on both phones.
- Use an Android phone with an active SIM and an internet connection.
- Keep both phones connected to the internet.
- On the Android phone, finish activation and create a current one-time iPhone pairing code. Enter that code in CallBridge on the iPhone before it expires.
- Allow microphone access on the iPhone only if you want call audio through the app. Allow the Android permissions needed for the features you use.
Troubleshooting
- If pairing fails, generate a new code on Android and check that both devices have internet access.
- If the Android phone is shown as offline, reopen CallBridge on Android and check that its service is allowed to run in the background.
- If call audio is unavailable, check the iPhone microphone permission and the call audio settings on both devices.
- Incoming call presentation while the iOS app is fully closed depends on Apple VoIP push configuration and may not be available in every build.
- CallBridge does not replace a cellular plan or emergency-calling service. Calls and SMS use the Android phone’s SIM and carrier.
